BREXIT - We HAVE left the EU! Sunak lectures British journo, David Frost is preparing next steps

UK Chancellor Rishi Sunak reiterated that Brexit cannot be stopped and that the UK Government is cementing the final terms of trading arrangments this week during the daily coronavirus press conference.

The Chancellor revealed that David Frost has held talks with the European Union this week in a bid to set out clarifications on the final terms of Britain's exit. Mr Sunak predicted that negotiations with the EU will continue throughout April and May as the UK agrees to the final terms of its departure from the trading bloc.

Mr Sunak said: "We have left the European Union.

"That has happened. What we are doing now is just negotiating the final terms of our trading arrangements.

"That work is carrying on.

"David Frost held talks earlier this week with his deputy counterpart over at the EU.
