Easy outdoor Wifi - using the BG Wifi range extender socket

With more of us working from home and summer fast approaching. Extending your Wifi signal to the garden or other parts of the house so you can work or relax is essential.

We've found a great solution in the shape of the BG Wifi extender socket. It's been around for a while and is a popular choice to extend wifi networks to weak zones within the house. We decided to see the BG wifi socket could also extend wifi outdoors.

Installation is simple as it replaces an existing UK twin BS1363 twin socket, fitting to a 25mm back box. While lots of plug-in wifi extenders are available, opting a for hard-wired option means you still get to use the 13A outlets and it won't get disconnected by mistake.

Available in a range of finishes to match deco - white, brushed stainless, chrome, black and an outdoor socket version.

Pairing to a Wifi router is easy with using WPS setup.
