IGNORING THE TRAVEL BAN! Visiting The Canaries Whilst on Lockdown With My 92 Year Old Mum

Visiting The Canary Islands whilst there is a travel ban and lockdown.

Tenerife and Gran Canaria have a lockdown, Jet2, Ryan Air and EasyJet have all grounded their planes and no one is flying. Millions of us have had our holidays and vacations cancelled and we've all been told to Stay At Home to avoid the epidemic.

People all over the world are in isolation, practicing social distancing and we are just dreaming of going on holiday again.

My 92 year old mother is vulnerable and was due to go on what would be her last holiday as she suffers with Dementia and Alzheimer's disease and is in quarantine, so I decided to ignore the travel ban (with the help of technology) and take her to the beaches of Tenerife and Gran Canaria, Las Americas, Los Cristianos, Playa Del Ingles, Playa de los Amadores, Anfi Del Mar, Maspalomas and Puerto Rico.

My Mother is high Risk so we all need to stay at home, protect the NHS and save lives. Don't give people on the frontline more work. If you do go out for shopping stay 2 metres apart.

Stay Safe Everyone and we'll be back on an aeroplane on holiday again for real soon.
