5 key roles for a successful online workshop

5 key roles for a successful online workshop How can you make an online workshop more fun, engaging and valuable? I found that having a team these 5 key roles helps a lot!

So here's the backstory is that I ran an online journey mapping at the Frontstage conference with about 200 people.

In preparation for this session I was thinking of ways how I could give the most of myself to the participants.

Having run countless of offline workshops I know that having a great team on your side is what can make or break a session.

In a good team everyone will know their role in the session focus on doing that.

For instance you don't want to be worrying about the lunch when you're guiding people through an exercise. When someone else on your team is taking care of that you can focus your attention on the participants.

This was the dynamic that I wanted to mimic in the online environment.

So I invited 4 brave volunteers to join the team and help me make this into a great experience for everyone.

In this video I explain how we divided the roles for the workshop.
