I love the idea of making the most out of what you have. The idea that the room you're in and what you see from it doesn't have to dictate your view or your outlook.
I often find people with less are forced to be more creative, insightful and resourceful. This song is a tribute to everyone who is making the most out of their situation.
I brought this track to Aron Kyne to help produce and he added the beautiful synth parts and subtle drum parts that give the track this pulsating breathing quality. This was originally some time in 2017 and we got 90% of the song finished. Then I just added it to a large pile of unfinished material.
When the lockdown happened in 2020 it allowed me to go through some of the unfinished songs and ideas I have. The chorus seemed to take on a new meaning under the new circumstances.
