Class 12(Ray Optics) Lect- 23, Example of Total Internal Reflection, Field of View, Mirage in Desert

Class 12(Ray Optics) Lect- 23, Example of Total Internal Reflection, Field of View, Mirage in Desert In this video, the following points have been explained under Chapter 9 Ray optics and optical instruments of class 12,
1) Examples of Total internal reflection.
A) Field of vision of fish, expression.
B) Shining of an empty test tube immersed in water.
C) Shining of the crack lying in the glass.
D) Shining of a lampblack coated ball, immersed in water.
A) Mirage in the desert.
F) Looming of Water in cold places.
C) Brilliance of diamond.

When a light ray enters a sparse medium by moving through a dense medium, the incident ray returns to its initial medium when the value of the incidence angle exceeds the critical angle. This is called the complete internal reflection of light.

Therefore, in this video, the examples seen in daily life based on the Total internal reflection of light are explained in the simplest terms.
