Understanding the Context of an Organization

Understanding the Context of an Organization In section 4 of the ISO55001 we are asked to consider the context of the organization. Every organization is different. A hospital will operate in a completely different context to that of a bus company. A Naval fleet will operate in a different context to ferry company and so on. Quite often in change, there is a temptation to jump in and start a change journey with assumptions. ISO section 4 is the most useful section for anyone in change because it takes us back to the Why we are here.

Structured Change brings together Asset Management and Change Management principles in order to deliver sustained Asset Management excellence to organizations.

Our Presenter and Founder, Martin Kerr has over 20 years’ hands on experience in Asset Management and Change Management. Martin is a Certified Fellow in Asset Management (CFAM), a Certified Asset Management Assessor (CAMA) and a Certified Practicing Project Director (CPPD).
