Step 1 - Facebook Page:
Make sure you have it setup and professional looking. You don’t want your page to only have promotional posts so make sure you have some content (10 to 15 posts). You can back date the posts to make it look like you’ve been posting for a while.

* Initial non-promotional content (10 to 20 posts that are backdated)
Step 2 - Choose Your Test Subjects:
* Choose Two Products From Your Online Store To Test
* These should be lower price point Impluse buys or ones that are typically first purchases
Step 3 - Create Two Campaigns For Each Of The Two Products
* Create 1 Campaign setting up your targeting & Placements
* For Your Targeting used your saved audience from your research (link in description on how to create this audience
* Placement: FB Mobile Since it’s cheap
* Minium Budget of $5 per day
* Auto bidding (you can always change this later)
* Set To Start Tomorrow Morning
Step 4 - Create Your Ads
* 1 ad per ad group in side your campaigns for clear data
* Test your product image since that will typically have the biggest impact
* 2 ads in the campaign (only difference between them is the image)
Step 5 - Duplicate Campaign & Repeat
* Duplicate The campaign you just set-up
* Change the name & update the ads to your second product
Step 6 - Test, Test, and Test Again!
* Get 100 clicks or 1000 impressions at minimum before calling a winner your budget and patience will determine how long you wait before making a winner decision
* Choose 1 product to move forward with testing:
* Winner Option 1: More Sales
* Winner Option 2: Best CPC or CTR (If no Sales)
* Test Your Ad Copy or Ad Image Again (If you have a larger budget, add another ad group to test placements)
Step 7 - Keep Experimenting
* This is just the basics, come up with your own things to test
* There are no rules, no one can tell you HOW to be successful, it’s up to you to play mad scientist to find what works for your online store.
Advanced tip - When you find a ad that works, you make make it a normal post on your feed (or use power editor if your really advanced). Then when making your ad select “use existing post” and use that post.
Then head over to Fiverr and hire several people to “promote your FB post to their audience.” This can dramatically improve your ads performance because you’ll get engagement from your ads and from the paid promotions from the fiver promoters.
