I made a short film inspired by @thetinychefshow and also the work of @juliacameronlive

It’s fan art that served a dual purpose by giving me something to work on when I’d normally be making costumes for Carnival season.

New Orleans has been hit hard by the pandemic. Our culture is endangered by economic uncertainty and lack of tourism.

Last April we had the highest rate of viral spread due to Mardi Gras because the Trump administration played down the seriousness of Covid.

This year we’re on lock down, but it doesn’t mean we’re not finding ways to celebrate and enjoy new traditions.

I filmed this project on my old iPhone SE and used @quick.app to edit because I believe you don’t need fancy equipment to make art. Just lots of heart and some good humored friends.
