SOP HANDLING CHECK IN- Bellboy

Arrival to the lobby :
-Open the CAR Door and remind the guest safety (Mind your head/ foot)
-Greeting The guest and introduce your name
-Ask the guest name
-Check the luggage status
-Check the luggage condition
-Confirm the luggage number and condition to the guest
-Escorting guest to the lobby with the luggage
-Show the guest the luggage position while in the lobby
-Do lobby orientation
- Suggest guest for registration / show the receptionist counter
-Excuse the guest that bellboy will handle the luggage
-Complete luggage with “luggage tag”,
Hand over the “Luggage claim ticket” to the guest
-Stand by the luggage, also prepare the BBEC (bellboy errand card) while waiting the guest call/ receptionist
- Respond the guest call / receptionist by walking closer to them
-Confirm whether the guest ready to go to the room
- If yes, ask for “Luggage claim Ticket” ( If not, wait for next instruction , let the guest take his time, and bellboy stand by the guest luggage)
- Excuse to guest for collecting the luggage, fill the Time out on” Bellboy Errand Card”.
- Thank to guest for waiting and confirm the luggage before walk to the room
- While escorting the guest do small talk and explain hotel facilities such : restaurant, gym, event, spa , etc.
considering to inform the opening time, specialties, location, todays event (discount, promo etc)
