The Meghalaya government on Monday informed that students and those working in private jobs outside the state and stranded due to the nation-wide lockdown will be given a one-time financial assistance of Rs 3000 each as they are unable to return home. It may be mentioned the state government has urged such persons to stay by back where they are till April 30.
