Sky News host Paul Murray said “the bloke from the shopping centre in South Australia” who refused to accept the return of thousands of rolls of toilet paper in exchange for a refund was an “absolute sensation”. Drakes Supermarkets Director John-Paul Drake said the toilet paper hoarder had purchased 4,800 rolls of toilet paper and 150 one litre sanitisers.
Mr Drake said “after the government politely said you can no longer sell these products interstate and overseas” the man rang up Drakes Supermarket and asked to exchange them.
“I was pretty disgusted by it and had had enough of that sort of behaviour,” Mr Drake told Sky News host Paul Murray.
