A CMP™ is a Certified Medicaid Planner™ or, in effect, is an “ALTCS” Planner. In Arizona, we call our Medicaid long term care program, ALTCS, (pronounced “ALL-TEX” ), which stands for Arizona Long Term Care System. The ALTCS application process can be very frustrating and confusing.
Many ask themselves, does it make sense to hire a CMP to help with the ALTCS Application process at the very time they are faced with anywhere from thirty-five hundred dollars to over eight thousand dollars a month for the cost of long-term care?
Here’s the real question; does it makes sense not to hire a CMP™?
