Can Children Be Kept Away From Schools For So Long? :Explained | BOOM | Govindraj Ethiraj,Avnita Bir Schools, colleges and educational institutions have been shut for months in India and globally. While schools reopen in the West, the question in India is, when will schools and colleges reopen? Will children be safe at school? Most importantly, what happens when a child has prolonged exposure to online education? Can parents do something to reduce negative effects of prolonged online exposure? BOOM explains.

Avnita Bir, Director Principal, R N Podar School, says there is no one-size-fits-all measure for all schools. Watch BOOM's Govindraj Ethiraj interview Avnita Bir on new ways of imparting education, conducting assessments and contribute to a child's well-being in a COVID-19 world.
